Using USDC on Stargate
Stargate is a cross-chain bridge built on LayerZero's messaging protocol. It uses unified liquidity pools across chains, meaning liquidity is shared rather than fragmented into separate pools for each route. Stargate supports USDC transfers between Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, and BNB Chain. The protocol offers guaranteed finality, meaning once you initiate a transfer, you're guaranteed to receive the tokens on the destination chain (no stuck transactions). Fees vary by route but are generally competitive. Stargate is one of the most widely used bridges in DeFi.
